The JEYI ASM2464 NVMe Enclosure 40G transforms your M.2 NVMe SSD into a compact and portable mobile hard drive enclosure. It features a USB4.0 Type-C output interface, supporting a maximum transmission speed of up to 40Gbps. Equipped with the latest ASM2464 chip, it is compatible with Thunderbolt3/4 and supports PCIe and USB Dual Tunnels.

Multiple Transmission Protocols

The JEYI USB 40G M.2 Enclosure is compatible with multiple transmission protocols and interfaces, ensuring broad adaptability. It supports USB 4 / Thunderbolt 3 / Thunderbolt 4 with a maximum transmission rate of 40Gbps. Due to protocol conversion losses, the theoretical maximum read speed is 3200Mb/s, and the theoretical maximum write speed is 2700Mb/s. In the USB 3.2 Gen 2X2 20G protocol, the maximum speed reaches 20Gbps, while in the USB 3.2 Gen 2 10G (USB 3.1 10G) protocol, the maximum speed is 10Gbps, and in the USB 3.2 Gen 1 5G (USB 3.0) protocol, the maximum speed is 5Gbps.

Exclusive Support for NVMe M.2 SSD

The JEYI Enclosure is designed exclusively for M Key and B+M Key NVMe SSDs, with a maximum capacity of up to 8TB. The applicable M.2 SSD size is 2280. Large file transfers are significantly faster, with 8K RAW format transfer speeds on this ASM2464 chip-based Enlcosure being three times faster than regular USB NVMe Enclosures.

Sturdy and Durable

Featuring a robust aluminum alloy body and unique CNC machining technology, the product is built to be rugged and durable, capable of withstanding drops of up to 2 meters. The all-aluminum body provides excellent heat dissipation performance, and when paired with the included Thermal Compound Pads, it quickly dissipates heat, helping to reduce internal temperatures and maintain the SSD's optimal performance.

Built in PWM Turbo Silent fan

The TB-2464Fan version has a built-in PWM fan. When the SSD temperature exceeds 40°C, this PWM temperature-controlled silent fan kicks in and increases its speed as the temperature rises.

Many users can't reach the standard write speed when testing because they don't have write caching turned on. Please turn on write caching with this video:

PWM Turbo Fan

The TB4 SSD enclosure has an auto-start turbo fan that kicks in when the temperature exceeds 45°C. The fan light is blue between 45°C and 55°C, and the fan speed increases as the temperature rises. When the light turns red, the fan runs at full speed.

Actual Test Speed

The maximum actual read speed is 3090Mb/s, and the maximum write speed is 3021Mb/s, which is close to the theoretical values

Wide Protocol Compatibility

Typical Thunderbolt 3 hard drive enclosures can only be used with Thunderbolt interfaces and cannot function on USB interfaces. However, JEYI's ASM2464 can be used across the mentioned devices and is also backward compatible with USB 3.2 20G, USB 3.2 10G, USB 3.0, and USB 2.0
