STC VL53L5CX is an advanced time of flight (ToF) multi area ranging sensor
VL53L5CX adopts the latest generation of direct ToF technology of STC, and can measure absolute distance regardless of target color and reflectivity. It provides accurate ranging up to 400 cm and can operate at high speeds (60 Hz), making it the fastest multi area micro ToF sensor on the market.
Multi area distance measurement can reach up to 8x8 area, 63 ° wide diagonal field of view, which can be reduced by software. The VL53L5CX can detect different objects in the field of view using the histogram algorithm patented by STF Semiconductor. The histogram algorithm can also suppress the crosstalk of cover slides over 60cm.
