First, product application:
The AD8361 is a mean response power detector for high frequency receiver and
transmitter signal chains up to 2.5 GHz. The device is very simple to use, requiring
only a single power supply from 2.7 V to 5.5 V, a power decoupling capacitor, and
an input coupling capacitor to operate in most applications. The output is linearly
responsive to DC voltage and the conversion gain is 7.5V /V RMS value. An
external filter capacitor can be added to increase the average time constant.
The AD8361 is primarily used for true power measurement with simple and
composite waveforms, and is particularly suitable for measuring high crest factor
(peak-rMS ratio) signals such as CDMA and W-CDMA. The AD8361 operates in
three modes to support a variety of analog-to-digital converter requirements:
1, the reference voltage source grounding mode, the source is zero.
2, the internal reference voltage source mode, the output can be biased to 350
mV above the ground level.
3, provide reference voltage source mode, the output can be biased to VS/7.5.
2. Technical indicators
1. Calibrated root-mean-square response
2, excellent temperature stability
3, input range up to 30 dB (2.5 GHz)

4, maximum input: 700 mV rms, 10 dBm (50 Ω resistance)
5, ± 0.25dB linear response (up to 2.5GHz)
6, single power supply: 2.7V to 5.5V
7, low power consumption: 3.3mW (3V)
8, fast shutdown mode: 1 μA below
9, through the jumper three modes to choose
10, provide design reference schematic
