The maximum power point tracking (MPPT) of solar cell is to ensure that when the light intensity changes, the photovoltaic cell always outputs the maximum power to make full use of solar energy. In general, switching mode DC-DC converter is needed to realize MPPT function to maximize the product (output power) of output voltage and charging current. Cn3722 realizes maximum power point tracking function of photovoltaic cells by switching buck DC-DC conversion. The maximum input voltage can reach 28V, which is very suitable for applications with large difference between input voltage and battery voltage.
