Answer: Magnetic Switches Can Be Used In Conjunction With Plcs, Relays, Or Other Controllers To Transmit Signals. Magnetic Switches Are Sensitive Components And Are Highly Susceptible To Damage, So Safety Precautions Should Be Taken During Use.

How Many Volts Does The Power Supply Use?

Answer: Electronic (Contactless) Magnetic Switches Use 12-24 Dc Power, While Reed Switch (With Contacts) Magnetic Switches Use 5-24V Dc Ac Power. When Using Magnetic Switches, It Is Forbidden To Directly Short-Circuit The Power Supply.

Is The Magnetic Switch Waterproof?

Answer: Our Magnetic Switch Is Not Waterproof And Cannot Be Used In Water Droplet Splashing Or Immersion Situations


1. Two Wire Magnetic Switches Cannot Be Short Circuited To The Power Supply. Magnetic Switches, Whether Mechanical Or Electronic, Have Very Low Resistance, Similar To Wires. Directly Connecting Them To a Power Source Can Cause a Short Circuit, And Overload Currents In The Circuit Can Damage The Magnetic Switch, Causing The Contacts To Melt And Close Normally Or Burn Out Directly.

2. Please Pay Attention To The Correct Polarity Of The Wiring Of The Two-Wire Magnetic Switch. Reverse Connection May Cause The Signal Light To Not Light Up. When Using a Three Wire Magnetic Switch, It Is Important To Ensure That The Wiring Is Not Incorrect, Otherwise It Is Prone To Burning Out.

3. Magnetic Switches Cannot Be Directly Connected To Large Inductive Components (Such As Motors, Large Capacity Solenoid Valves, Etc.). Excessive Inductance Can Generate a Large Amount Of Surge Current And Burn Out The Magnetic Switch When The Circuit Is Turned On Or Off. When Using Magnetic Switches, It Is Necessary To Ensure Stable And Interference Free Current Or Voltage.

4. As a Magnetic Sensitive Component, The Magnetic Switch Should Ensure That There Is No Strong Magnetism Or a Large Amount Of Iron Filings In The Usage Environment. Otherwise, The Magnetic Sensitivity Performance Of The Magnetic Switch Will Decrease, Resulting In Misoperation Or Non Operation, And a Reduced Lifespan. If Strong Magnetism Is Necessary, Magnetic Switches Suitable For Strong Magnetic Field Applications Should Be Selected.

5. Magnetic Switch Induction Heads Are Mostly Made Of Resin And Should Not Be Used In Situations Such As Seawater, Chemicals, Moisture, Etc. Otherwise, The Resin Part Will Expand And Crack.

6. Magnetic Switches Are Fragile Components, And During Storage, Transportation, And Use, Violent Treatment Such As Impact And Pulling Should Be Avoided, Which Can Easily Cause Mechanical Damage To The Magnetic Switch.

7. Two Wire Electronic Magnetic Switches Have a Certain Leakage Current, And It Is Necessary To Ensure That The Starting Current Is Much Greater Than The Leakage Current During Use, Otherwise It May Cause Misoperation. Three Wire Electronic Magnetic Switches Can Effectively Improve By Controlling The Leakage Current To Be Small, Or Mechanical Magnetic Switches Without Leakage Current Can Be Selected.

8. In Other Abnormal Usage Situations, It Is Necessary To Communicate With Customer Service First To Understand And Prevent Unnecessary Losses.
