Product Description
*An integrated PLL eliminates the need for a system clock (often called a master clock), enabling a three-wire I²S connection and reducing system electromagnetic interference.
*Intelligent clock error and PowerSense undervoltage protection utilize a two-stage mute system for noise-free performance.
*Compared to many traditional switched-capacitor DAC architectures, the PCM510xA family offers up to 20 dB lower out-of-band noise (measured from a traditional 100 kHz OBN to 3 MHz), reducing EMI and aliasing in downstream amplifiers/ADCs.
*Delivering a differential linear level of up to 2.1V RMS with loads of at least 1 kΩ, it eliminates the need for output capacitors and external mute circuitry.
*Supports external undervoltage protection and mute control on the XSMT pin.
*Enters a low-power sleep state when the BCK/LRCK signals are absent.
