Product Description:
1. VL53LOX is a new generation time-of-flight (TOF) laser ranging module (different from traditional technology), which adopts the smallest package currently on the market, and can provide accurate distance measurement regardless of the reflectivity of the target. It can measure an absolute distance of 2M, setting a new benchmark for ranging performance levels and opening the door to a variety of new applications.
2. Connect the purchased module with the IIC pin of your own microcontroller, and write the program by yourself with reference to the routine. Insert the matching MS51 development board to display the distance. At the same time, the serial port on the development board will print the distance data every second. The digital tube display is in centimeters, and the serial port output is in millimeters. The maximum measurement distance of the development board is 500mm
3. When the distance measurement is inaccurate, the matching development board has a calibration function. When the power is off, use tweezers to short-circuit SDA and GND, and then power on, the digital tube will display "Err", indicating that the calibration data in the development board has been cleared. Disconnect the power, and then power on again to enter the calibration mode. Place a baffle 11cm in front of the development board, and disconnect the power supply when the reading on the digital tube is stable. In calibration mode, the serial port data is as follows: D indicates the current measured distance, cal indicates the deviation from 107mm (107mm is because the sensor protrudes 3mm from the development board)
