Rd-03E is a radar module equipped with Silicon Microelectronics' S3KM111L chip. The S3KM111L is an integrated microcontroller millimeter wave sensor SoC based on FMCW radar transceiver technology that operates in the 24 GHz K-band with a modulation bandwidth of up to 1 GHz per single frequency scan. This module uses the FMCW waveform and S3 series chip's proprietary advanced signal processing technology, combined with the MCU's proprietary radar signal processing and built-in intelligent presence sensing algorithm, to achieve accurate human body sensing ranging and gesture recognition. Developers can display distance information and gesture information in real time through the host computer tool.The Rd-03E module can detect and identify moving and micro-moving human bodies, and report real-time distances. It can detect targets and gestures in designated areas and report results in real time. It is widely used in various AloT scenarios. This module has the characteristics of strong real-time performance, high ranging accuracy, large ranging range, and flexible configuration of algorithm parameters.
Rd-03E gesture recognition firmware mainly refers to recognizing the up and down movements of hands, and is mainly used in scenarios such as opening the lid/opening the toilet seat of smart toilets. It doesn't mean recognizing gestures such as "OK", "Yeah" and "Good".

Los genios de Aysinker han perdido todos los documentos y software relacionados con rd-03 v1 en su sitio web. El software de la versión 2 con el módulo no funciona, además, congela el PC y no se puede resolver sin un reinicio. El módulo en sí funciona: detecta movimiento con un pie, emite la presencia de rímel y la distancia a él en centímetros en ASCII. Al intentar cambiar la configuración según el protocolo encontrado en línea, que también es realmente terrible (solo intenta leer antes de comprar), el módulo no responde. El dispositivo se está devolviendo porque el revestimiento de inmersión se ve hermoso, pero obtuve otro módulo (similar en apariencia) de Haylink por doscientos rublos, al menos tienen documentación sin problemas.
